My employer offers H1-B sponsorship, but the dreary waiting period on getting permanent residency is scary (10 years?) So my question is, if I go to grad school and then find another job with H1-B offer, would it be easier and quicker for me to get a green card? Is it worth it?

Like say, is a B average from a school like UCLA lesser than say an A- average from like, Cal State Northridge? Or do the admissions take into consideration the status of your school, like how its a harder curriculem and harder to get into? thanks!
