ap asked: I am an undergrad student and know for sure that I want to go to grad school. Other than grants and scholarships what are some of the other options? I have heard that there are companies that ask you to work for a certain number of years and pay for your grad studies. If yes which are these companies?

flatcoke asked: I recently graduated from a US school with a bachelor’s degree. I’ve been working on my OPT since. My employer offers H1-B sponsorship, but the dreary waiting period on getting permanent residency is scary (10 years?) So my question is, if I go to grad school and then find another job with H1-B offer, would it be easier and quicker for me to get a green card? Is it worth it?

sugax0xhny asked: When you apply to grad school, does the status and quality of your undergrad get taken into consideration? Like say, is a B average from a school like UCLA lesser than say an A- average from like, Cal State Northridge? Or do the admissions take into consideration the status of your school, like how its a harder curriculem and harder to get into? thanks!

kgirl asked: I have been accepted to grad school. I had assumed (hoped?) that I could go part-time but with this particular program they have all the classes figured out so you HAVE to go full-time. I own a condo in the Bay Area. I hate to give up on my dream of going to grad school but I don’t know how to make this work.

Casey S asked: I am currently a psychology major at a 4-yr college now, and definitely am considering grad school. I was wondering if anyone, more specifically psych majors or professors or anyone else, had an opinion about my options. I have been looking into going to a grad school and studying on campus. Another option is online schooling. I know it’s skeptical but does have its advantages. Any opinions on what the best way to handle this would be? I am not sure if I should go to grad school or work towards it online while working at another job.
