I’m getting my degree in molecular biology, so a focus on DNA work. Will most graduate schools call it good if one gets their undergraduate degree in the physical or life sciences? Such as physics, chemistry, biochemistry, biology, molecular biology, microbiology…etc. Or are there certain class requirements that must be taken in order to get accepted into their school? (I don’t think it’s like med school where you MUST take certain classes in order to get accepted.)

I transferred to a 4 year commuter school from living in a dorm at my last school. I’m studying to become a secondary education teacher. I have to do my masters but my school doesn’t offer very good programs for graduate year. Would it be stupid to say go to SUNY Cortland or somewhere and dorm I mean I’m still going to be young.
