I was honored to receive the Top Student award from CIM for the Post-graduate diploma in Marketing. I thoroughly enjoyed the program conducted by Aventis School of Management, Singapore and the lectures were extremely helpful in further developing and updating my marketing knowledge and preparing me for the exams.
By studying the course at Aventis it will enable you to understand the course content more fully and give you ample opportunities to ask questions, hear about real life examples to support the theoretical models, meet fellow marketing professionals and practice past exam papers, etc. CIM is different to many educational courses in that you need to apply your knowledge to real life situations during the exam and put yourself in the position of a marketing manager with key decisions to make. Going through the theory is not enough, instead read around the subjects and find relevant real life examples to support your decisions.
Business Profile: Anna White
Anna White has over ten years of international marketing experience in different product and service categories. She graduated from Loughborough University in Management Sciences and joined the Mars Graduate Training Program and after two years became the Trade Marketing Manager for their Petfood division in the UK.
She has since worked in brand management roles for a large wine company in Canada and Shell in the Middle East, successfully launching Shell Helix Motor Oil. Anna extended her marketing experience and knowledge by spending two years as an Account Group Manager for a leading communications agency in Dubai working on accounts including Hyatt, Intercontinental and the British Council.
Following successful marketing consulting project roles with KPMG and the British Council in China, Anna is now looking to further her career in Singapore in marketing and brand consulting.
