What schools should I look into for graduate school?

Wednesday, April 30th, 2008
Frankly asked:

I’m currently a biology major with an emphasis in ecology and a biometrics minor (statistics in the life sciences). I’ll be heading into my junior year. My question is what are some good graduate schools for my area of study? I’d possibly want to study evolutionary biology as well. Anyone have any experience with the graduate school process is it tough? I’m interested in ornithology, herpetology, and entomology, and possibly botany and of course stats.

Will the government pay for graduate school?

Tuesday, April 29th, 2008
itsmecasper asked:

I am currently a government employee looking at going to graduate school full-time. However, I wish to have my employer finance my graduate studies (MBA). It seems however, from my research, not a lot of government agencies pay for graduate school, or at least my agency doesn’t.

Is this more common of private companies or am I looking in the wrong places in the government?

Peter

How should I organize my graduate school application packet?

Saturday, April 19th, 2008
bubsnlady asked:

I’m sending off my graduate school application packets (for physical therapy programs), and I wasn’t sure how I should organize all of my forms, letters of recommendation envelopes, transcripts, etc. I was thinking about getting a report cover with the prongs and then putting in subject dividers which have folder flaps. At least then I would be able to separate all of the different things and be somewhat organized. However, I don’t wanna seem like a brown-noser and go overboard. Any comments or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks.

How would i find the right graduate school for a major in Telecommunications in the US?

Saturday, April 12th, 2008
legendaryugo asked:

Searching for a graduate school to major in Telecommunications is like looking for a needle to in a haystack. So if anyone knows how i can narrow down my options…i’ll be glad to hear it.
Ok i guess i have to rephrase the question for clarity. I just finished my first degree in Electrical/Electronics in Nigeria and looking towards a masters degree in telecommunications in the US…just to give me a slight edge back here. I just found out that finding the right school isnt thateasy. So if anyone how knows how i can narrow my options down….i’ll be happy to hear that.
Thanks

What is a good site to research graduate school scholarships?

Thursday, April 10th, 2008
thevonbankfamily asked:

I have tried just searching the web, but so much junk and misleading info, none sounds legitimate. Anyone know GOOD leads, online or otherwise.

Remember, graduate school scholarships, not undergrad.
