Can you receive enough federal loans to survive in Graduate School?

Rose D asked:

I am graduating from Georgia State University in May. I want to go to graduate school but am worried about affording to go and survive. Is anyone familiar with federal loan options in graduate school? Could I possibly be able to take out enough to pay tuition and have some left over? I plan to attend UGA.
