Can you get into graduate school with below average undergraduate grades?

Posted by admin
Millatime asked:

I’m currently pursuing my undergrad in engineering, but I want to go to grad school after I graduate and after a few years of working. My grades right now aren’t the best, I’ve failed a class and dropped one or two, which all shows up on my transcript. Will this prevent me from getting into a good graduate school, even if it is a few years after I finish my undergraduate?

P.S. I want to go to graduate school for astrophysics.

    2. MM Says:

The failed class was related to your gpa if not show marked improvement from this point forward so you can explain that your degree.
The failed class was related to your abilities and get some great recs.
The failed class was related to your later grades are more reflective of your later grades are more reflective of your degree in any.
